The James E. McLeod Honors & Awards program acknowledged students who demonstrate a commitment to:
- individual pursuits promoting expression of Black culture, history, and values.
- academic excellence and advancement of scholarship.
- cultivating community through service to improve quality of life for Black people at WashU, in St Louis, and globally.
Nominations Closed
Prospective award recipients may nominate themselves or be nominated by students, faculty or staff. Nominees may be asked to submit a resume and other supporting documents. A selection committee of faculty and staff for each award reviews all submissions. An interview with the selection committee may be required.
