Named for the abolitionist, writer and orator, this award recognizes a student who has established ties among Blacks within the University community and who has promoted cultural understanding between blacks and other members of the University community.


Nomination Process

Nominations are solicited from administrators, academic advisors, faculty, astaff and students. Individuals can also nominate themselves.


Award Criteria

Nominees must be undergraduate students from Washington University in Saint Louis.
